The Tylar-Josh Turtle Birthday Hearts of Gold Award for Kids

Inspired by the big-hearts of two young children, Tylar from Washington and Josh in Oregon, we have created a special donation option in their name. These truly amazing children raised donations for their own birthdays! Josh and Tylar (who have never met) asked their family and friends to donate money to save turtles! They also went door to door asking their neighbors to contribute to their turtle birthday fund! Each child raised over $200 dollars and saved the lives of many turtles.
Your little turtle fundraiser will receive a poster that honors them with the turtle Hearts of Gold Award, as well as a lesson in giving that will last a lifetime.

Very Special Hearts of Gold: Your child will be proud to see his or her photo on our Hearts of Gold poster honoring their exceptional effort in saving sea turtles (with any donation of $15.00 or more).

In appreciation of your donation of $15.00 or more - you are eligible to receive our Very Special Order! Submit a personal photo to be added on your gift poster.

Write you own unique personalized sentiments on the card and send a photo via email attachment. If you need to send a hard copy, contact jana@costaricaturtles.org

Your tax-deductible donation to our non-profit organizationwill be devoted to the protection of sea turtles, their hatchlings and eggs. Save the Turtles, Inc. is an organization exempt from U.S. federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, and contributions are accordingly tax deductible.

Honor a Special Teacher, Turtle Gift:

Your child may wish to inspire their class and raise donations for turtles to honor a unique teacher for the exceptional job they are doing. The teacher will receive a beautiful card or poster thanking him or her. At the bottom of the poster, the amount of money raised for the turtles by the class will be mentioned, along with a personal note written by the class. You may choose to have each student sign the back.

For Teachers: Global Classroom Conservation Challenge

Having navigated the oceans’ waters through the millennia, sea turtles are truly global creatures. What better species could there be to use as a focal point for challenging your classroom to learn to think globally as well as environmentally? Challenge your students to learn cooperation and character building skills as they create and carry out their own innovative turtle fundraising plans. The money they raise will protect endangered sea turtles in one of their most critical nesting areas of the world.
